Join us for a free introductory welcome tour which provides a bite-sized information session for new and returning visitors to the NLI.

This tour includes an introduction to the history and work of the National Library of Ireland, as well as information on the library services available to the public and a tour of the publicly accessible areas of the building.

Concluding with an introduction to the Yeats: The Life and Works of William Butler Yeats exhibition, visitors are invited to finish their visit with an audio highlights tour to further explore the poetry of William Butler Yeats. 

This tour is suitable for new and regular library users and lasts approximately 30 minutes with the opportunity for questions throughout. Meet your tour guide in the entrance hall of the main building on Kildare Street.
