An online talk on using the National Library’s services and collections to research your family history.

Join Steven Skeldon, National Library of Ireland (NLI), for an online talk about using the NLI’s services and collections to research your family history.

This online talk will include a presentation on accessing the library’s family history services, an exploration of examples of family history resources held in the library collections, and how to undertake genealogy research.

The talk will take place online via Zoom.

Steven Skeldon manages the Family History Service at the National Library of Ireland .  He is a qualified archivist, chair of the Genealogy and Local Studies group of the Library Association of Ireland, and committee member of the Archives and Records Association of Ireland. His research background is in the area of archival management, etymology and historical linguistics.
